YourNightOut ("we", "our", or "us") is operated by Pollux & Castor Group LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application and website.

Information We Collect

• Account Information: Name, email address, and profile details when you create an account or sign in with Apple or Google.
• Location Data: With your permission, we collect your device location to show nearby venues and personalize recommendations. Location is only accessed while you are using the app.
• Usage Data: How you interact with the app, including vibes selected, itineraries created, venues viewed, and searches performed.
• Device Information: Device type, operating system, and a hashed device identifier for app functionality and abuse prevention.
• Payment Information: Payment details are processed securely through Stripe and Apple's in-app purchase system. We do not store your credit card information.
• Phone Number (optional): If you provide a phone number during booking and check the SMS opt-in box, we use it to send transactional booking messages only. See our SMS Opt-In page for full details.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide and personalize venue recommendations and itineraries
• To process reservations and bookings
• To manage your subscription and account
• To send push notifications (only with your opt-in consent)
• To send SMS booking confirmations and reminders (only with your explicit opt-in consent)
• To improve our app and develop new features
• To prevent fraud and abuse of our services

SMS Messaging

We send SMS messages only to users who have explicitly opted in by checking a consent box during booking. Message frequency varies by booking activity (typically 1–3 messages per booking). Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time, or HELP for help. SMS opt-in data and phone numbers are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data with:

• Venues: When you make a reservation, relevant booking details are shared with the venue.
• Service Providers: We use trusted third-party services (Stripe for payments, RevenueCat for subscriptions, Expo for notifications) that process data on our behalf.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission, secure password hashing, and rate-limited API access to protect your information.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access, update, or delete your account information
• Opt out of push notifications at any time
• Opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP, toggling SMS off in the app, or emailing support
• Revoke location permissions through your device settings
• Request deletion of your data by contacting us

YourNightOut is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
