Users opt in to receive SMS messages from YourNightOut at one place only:
The opt-in is presented as an unchecked checkbox the user must actively tap. Bookings can be completed without opting in. The opt-in is not pre-selected and is not bundled with any other consent.
If a user opts in, they may receive the following transactional SMS messages tied to their booking:

YourNightOut does not send marketing or promotional SMS messages.
Message frequency varies based on the user's booking activity. A typical opted-in user receives 1–3 messages per booking. Users with no active booking receive zero messages.
Message and data rates may apply. YourNightOut does not charge users for SMS messages; standard carrier rates apply.

Users can reply HELP to any message and will receive: "YourNightOut SMS support: visit https://yournightout.com/support or email support@yournightout.com. Reply STOP to unsubscribe."
SMS messages are sent through Twilio and are supported on all major US carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, Boost, Cricket, MetroPCS, U.S. Cellular, Virgin Mobile, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
YourNightOut does not sell, rent, or share phone numbers or SMS opt-in data with third parties for their marketing purposes. Phone numbers collected for SMS are used solely to deliver the booking-related messages described above.
